Janet York is still in critical condition while Teri Bauer and Alan York wait at the hospital. Jack calls Teri and tells her to not let anyone see Janet since he thinks the girl’s life is in danger. Meantime, Jack finally arrives at CTU where Nina Myers is waiting with an unidentified mutilated body. Jack leaves again on a helicopter. Tony confronts Nina about this but Nina brushes him off. She then tries to uncover the identity of the man.
Teri and Jack finally meet at the hospital with Jack telling her what’s going on. Teri voices out her worry that Kim may have been kidnapped. Jack receives a call from Ira Gaines who tells him that he’s watching him.
Meanwhile, Kim tries to convince Rick to escape with her as they bury Dan’s body. And Senator David Palmer starts to consider his options after learning that his son was behind Gibson’s death and that it was covered up with his wife knowing about it.
