The CTU experiences a lockdown due to Walsh’s death. Jack ignores this as he decides to chase a lead, being too impatient to wait for results. Nina is interrogated by Mason who suspects with Tony that she and Jack know something about what is going on. Mason tries to psyche her out by referring to her relationship with Jack but she holds out. Nina warns Jamey, a trusted agent, not to admit to anything. Meanwhile, Senator Palmer gets more clues to what is going on. Teri and Alan rushes to the hospital where Janet is but they run into complications. Kim tries to appeal to her kidnappers but it doesn’t work. Finally she meets Gaines.
