Kim attempts to escape from her kidnappers with an injured Janet in tow. They try to ask help from a male prostitute but instead he takes all their belongings. Eventually, Kim is able to get hold of a phone and she tries to call her mother. She is able to tell their location but has to hang-up when Dan and Rick appear. Meanwhile, Senator Palmer begins to unravel a conspiracy against him and becomes suspicious of everyone. Jack confronts Nina but she simply denies she has anything to do with what is going on.
