David Palmer meets Jack Bauer and they put their heads together, putting piece by piece the incidences that finally led them to the conclusion that everything is interrelated. It points to a mission that the senator authorized a few years back. The mission is called Nightfall. Bauer and Palmer decide to work together so they can track down the person who is behind it all, the one who seeks revenge on them both. Meanwhile, Teri and Nina have a conversation at the safe house and found something revealing about Jack.
