24 TV Series Episodes

Eighth season confirmed

That’s at least what Kiefer Sutherland says, when asked about the future of the hit action series. Fox has no official announcement yet, but you can expect some official news soon, now that the lead actor has broken the ice.

Kiefer has been successful in his portrayal of the grim and dedicated agent Jack Bauer and was awarded with the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series award in 2006 at the Emmys.

In tandem with the news that 24 producer and director John Cassar will be leaving the show after he and FOX executives did not agree on the terms of a new contract for the upcoming season, we do not know how to take the news. We can only hope that 24 will continue to deliver fast paced intelligent drama and action in the coming 8th season.

Season 7 – Terror from Within

With terrorism an ever present threat, our hero Agent Jack Bauer is once again thrust into the complicated mind-game that is counter-terrorism. With the threat this time coming from within the US and possibly even the White House itself, the problems for our unconventional agent compounds himself when he is told he has to face one of his former colleagues turned terrorist. The plot thickens as even the president whose son turns up dead is linked to terror cells within the US as they battle in a race against time to find biological warfare agents smuggled into the country.
From nuclear, biological and people, threats seem to be coming from all angles as agent Jack tries to uphold his patriotism as it is questioned time and time again. Watch our hero in the current season as he does all this to save the American people and even the world from the hands of terror cells who work amidst the most secretive government agencies, taking the battle closer to home and their hearts. See emotions fly as allies turn enemies in the world battle for control with fear as the main weapon.

Time for 24 Trivia !

Yep, we just can’t wait for the next Season and so we don’t go nuts, how’s about some trivia from the show. In Season 4 Episode 5, Debbie’s cellphone rang and came up with a valid number which was actually deliberate and set-up as a prop phone but was turned into a fan phone when they got 80,000 calls in the first week of the phone being shown. Of all the cast, only Agent Aaron Pierce is the only character to have appeared on all 6 seasons of the show from all the cast that have taken part in the series. All of the actors are also not told as to what will happen in the next episode till it begins its shoot so as people do not get what’s going to happen next.
These people are truly professional and have unwavering support for the show, much so that each and every cast member is required(per their contracts) to get a haircut every 5 days. The series is also shot as much as possible at eye level to present true realism of having the viewer in the scene(why not do it in 3D……hmm).

24 for 4 Hours

There is reason to be jolly this Christmas season. Santa Claus… I mean Jack Bauer is coming to town sooner than you think. It will be just around a month and a half before the 24 big event comes to the television screen. 24 will start the year with a big bang. For hours is the exact length of time we will be strapped on our seats, afraid to move and wanting to watch more. Season 7 of the widely popular series 24 starring Keifer Sutherland is set to debut this January 11, 2009 with a two hour special. From 8pm to 10pm. The suspense doesn’t stop there, the following day, it will air the 2nd of two parts also at 8pm to 10pm time slot. After that, the following airing will be its regular 1 hour time slot 9pm to 10pm. The 2nd part will be 24′s 150th episode.

24′s Long Break

24 is officially taking time off. Fox confirmed what everyone was thinking. And won’t be back for almost one year. Time is of the essence and Jack bauer knows that more anybody does. The seventh season of the show was slotted to begin last January of this year and continually run without a break, unfortunately in November 2007, the writers strike complicated things and forced Fox to further postpone the season’s premiere at an unspecified time. Ultimately, Fox decided not to continue the season and instead re schedule it for January 2009. The crew has shot around 8 episodes for the season. But it was a move by Fox to ensure the famous series runs uninterrupted hopefully by next year.

CTU finally finds where Philip was hiding. And Daniels orders an air strike. This was a desperate move to please the Russians. Meanwhile, Jack and Bill search for Josh alone, hoping to find him before the bombers find their target. Lennox convinces Daniels to extend his leniency towards Bill and Karen. In the midst of the close call, Daniels slowly begins to doubt his choices as the acting president. On the other side, Chloe gives Morris a few surprising news that changes their relationship. Marilyn is finally reunited with Josh at CTU.

The prequel’s coming!!

Season 7 was aired this year January 13, 2008, but it was postponed until next year January. That is why some of the loyal fans are really looking forward for the coming year. Of course, we will all be looking forward for Cherry Bones / Powers Boothe showdown in this season, right? Anyways, Jon Voight and Robert Carlyle will also be there, and obviously Kiefer Sutherland, the one who is playing as Jack Bauer. During the last season, the script and the story are not really satisfying, that is why the hardworking producers and imaginative script writers polished this seasonâ?™s scripts to become more appealing. That is why Season 7 was postponed. Unfortunately, so is Season 8, because season 7 will use the whole year after this onwards. Season 8 will probably be aired on 2010 hopefully. Kim Bauer manages to convince Rick Allen to try to escape with her by pointing out that Ira Gaines will not let him go since he has become a liability. Rick eventually agrees and he starts to plan their escape. Meanwhile, Teri Bauer persuades Kevin Carroll to pull the car over by saying she feels sick. She gets out and attacks and knocks out Kevin with a large rock when he comes out to get her. She ties him to a tree and grabs her cell phone. Kevin cajoles her to free him so he can take her to Kim. Teri doesn’t believe him and is finally able to get a cell signal. She calls CTU and Jamey picks up. Teri gives her location to wait for the CTU teams to pick her up. Back to Kim. Rick and Kim almost escape when Kim hears her Mom’s voice. She tells Rick to escape but both are unable to move as a guard comes in.

SPOILER ALERT:

Senator Palmer prepares for his political breakfast against his family’s wishes while Jack returns to CTU only to get a mission from Gaines. Issues on the keycard and the identity of the shooter ensue involving the rest of the team. Gaines instructs Jack to kill Nina. Jack shoots her four times point blank in an abandoned oil rig. Jack leaves. Nina stands up and walks away a few moments later.

Agent Jack Bauer works for the Los Angeles Counter Terrorist Unit. He is called in for an assignment – to protect an African-American Senator who is running for the presidential seat. Jack Bauer has counted on having to deal with an assassin but he does not expect to learn that there are traitors in his own agency who are working against him and that it is not only the Senator that is in need of his protection, but his own family as well. Things get complicated with tension from his relationship with Teri, his wife, and his relationship with Nina Myers, a colleague who is also Jack’s former lover.

CTU:Provo – Proof of how goood 24 is

How far would you go to worship your favorite show? Some fans of 24 have even made a feature-length film about it! CTU:Provo shows the funny things that happen when a real terrorist attack confronts a small-town branch of the Counter-Terrorist Unit. And mind you, even though this flick is done by fans, it has the look, the sounds and the feel of the actual show. Some say that the story is even better because it is more inventive and original than the usual 24 episodes. The cast is also well-known people who did an excellent job on the movie.
