Writer’s strike kills 24

The result was instantaneous, the TV series shoot was halted and producers said its seventh season wonâ?™t be airing until late 2009 just so that they can be sure that the shoot wonâ?™t be interrupted in its course.
Instead of the usual bacon and egg, Jack Bauer of the hit thriller series 24 ingests prequels for breakfast no thanks to the recent writerâ?™s strike that has got his popular per-hour drama frozen. A Hollywood reporter told us that the series wonâ?™t hit the channels until late this fall.
